History of the Center... The Sugar Grove Township, Park District, and Library District are working together to develop a center and related activities in our community for older adults. Also assisting us are West Town Human Services and the Sugar Grove Chamber of Commerce.
We envision the center as a place where older adults can:

•Share a healthy meal from The Salvation Army Golden Diner program - for a donation.

• Work on the computer, talk with friends, and watch TV/movies
• Enjoy cards, board games, bingo, fitness activities and crafts
• Attend presentations on a wide range of informative topics
• Find information on adult-oriented recreational and social service opportunities
throughout the area
• Receive social service assistance

The center is located in the new Township building at 54 Snow Street in Sugar Grove (the former library). Initially, it will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. starting September 16th. For information, you can visit any of the three agencies’ websites or call the park district at 630-466-7436.
