Regular Programming

Drop-In Baby Story Time

Mondays: 10:30-11:00am  7/25, 8/8

Baby Story Time supports early literacy and language skills by encouraging singing, playing, talking, and shared reading. Join us for fun stories, fingerplays, and snuggling in a welcoming environment! Caregivers stay with children. Ages 0-18 months. Drop in. No registration required. Program is geared toward babies, but siblings are welcome.

Toddler Story Time

Tuesdays: 10:30-11:00am  7/26, 8/9 Click here to register

Toddler Story Time encourages early literacy, and helps develop language skills and social skills through the use of simple books, fun fingerplays, and action rhymes. Children learn the joy of choosing a book and shared reading. Caregivers stay with children. Ages 18 months - 3 years.  Register with Sugar Grove Public Library District card. Program is geared toward toddlers, but siblings are welcome.

Preschool Story Time

We read stories, do fun fingerplays, sing songs, play letter-recognition games, make crafts and more. Join us for a fun time and develop literacy, language, and social skills as well as positive associations with reading and the library.  Caregivers must stay in library. Ages 3 - 5 years. Read to Rover

Spend some time practicing your reading with friendly dogs from Fox Valley Therapy Dogs. Children who are able to read on their own can read their favorite stories to dogs who love to listen! Grades 1-6 or able to read on their own. Register online - no library card needed.

Curiosity Club

Thursdays: 4:30-5:20pm

This fun monthly program includes books, crafts, and activities geared toward curious kids in K-2nd grade. Join us as we explore a new and interesting topic each month. Grades K-2. Register with Sugar Grove Public Library District card. A separate registration is required each month.

Chris Fascione: Juggling Funny Stories! (P.A.C.T program)

You’ll be laughing out loud as nationally-known family entertainer Chris Fascione brings children’s stories to life with his high-spirited and innovative performances.  Full of energy, humor and imagination, Chris creates colorful characters through his unique combination of acting, storytelling, comedy, and juggling.  A Storytelling World Award winner, Chris brings out the kid in everyone, as adults and children alike have fun participating in the show.  Find out more at www.JugglingFunnyStories.com All ages. Tuesday Movie Matinees

Tuesdays, June 7- August 2, 1:00pm
