  • Tax Considerations

    The Library is considered a charitable organization under the IRS code 170, which states that "you may deduct contributions of money or property to... local governments, if the gifts are solely for public purposes."

    The Library accepts unconditional gifts accordance with Library Policy. Sponsorship and contribution recognition requires the concurrence and approval of the Library Board. The Library Board reserves the right to reject donations by individuals, groups, or organizations if, in the sole discretion of the Library Board it is in the best interest of the Library.

  • Benefactor Levels

    Each donor will be recognized in a book titled "Contributors to the Sugar Grove Library" which will be kept as part of the permanent collection.


    Level A :  Paving Stones at Flag Pole

    The path from the parking lot to the flagpole to the front Porch is a buff colored paver with a rust colored paver edge. $50.00 per Brick for your personalized message, using upper case and lower case lettering. There is a limit of three lines of text per buff stone.
