The Library received a 2013 Back to Books Grant of $5,000 to purchase print materials for school age children to support Common Core achievement and lifelong learning in the social sciences. We seek matching funds to purchase similar materials for adults and pre-school aged children. This is just one way you can support the library in achieving its mission. We welcome your donation of any amount. Due to declining use of paper magazines and the amount of staff time needed to manage a subscription, the library no longer accepts donated magazine subscriptions.

Name Plates
Many items in our collection have book plates inside recognizing the fact that they are in our collection as a gift from Vern Graham in Memory of Lois Graham. Lois was a long time library supporter. She served as a library trustee from 1962-1987. Her husband, Vern, donated $10,000.00 to the Library when she passed away. He hoped that the amount would be held, trusting that the interest would continually be invested in the library collection.

The Library Board has honored the spirit of that donation. They have also encouraged additional donations to the fund. You will from time to time notice any number of items in the library collection with the names of Ellen Bonewitz, Almer Gliddon, Jane Nelson, Barb Conley, Norma Anderson, and the Clever Family. They have also established perpetual donations to the library.

Please contact Carol Dolin at (630) 466-1448 if you are interested in creating a similar legacy.
